New year, new stamps, new blog

Yes, I’ve moved home – I am still trying to learn about WordPress and trying to find my way round, but I thought I would start off with a couple of projects I’ve just made using some new stamps I have recently bought.

On this card I have used a word block by Darkroom Door as a background – I used various Distress Markers to add colours, then misted lightly with water before stamping onto white card. When it was dry I gave the card a quick spritz with two colours of Glimmermist. Then I used another of my new stamps, Juliette by IndigoBlu, stamped in black. The dream stamp is by Tim Holtz (Stuff to Say set). I finished it off with some lace at the bottom and tiny gems in coordinating colours in Juliette’s hair.

My second project is a Joy Fold card, using this cute bicycle by Clarity Stamps. The background paper is by Pink Paislie, and I’ve added a little Flower Soft to the basket on the bike.
