This is a little wooden bird house which I have had lying around for quite a while waiting to be decorated. So, as I had an unexpected day at home (due to the snow!!), I decided to make the most of this time and make a start. After giving the house a coat of Fresco Finish acrylic paint, I coloured the roof and around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I stamped the sides and the back using Archival Ink, and decorated the front with some flowers and a little metal tree charm. The bird was die cut from Grungepaper and coloured with DIs. As a final touch I stamped and coloured some leaves, cut them out and added them to the roof. What an enjoyable way to spend a snowy day!
